Don’t judge Serra too harshly, she doesn’t know that the person she killed was an immortal demon.
Transcript
As Lewk begins collecting funds and distributing touches of the palm Serra stands back, clearly shaken by the deed she just committed.
Serra: I- I- Killed.
Nikol appears beside Serra gingerly taking her by the arm.
Nikol: Serra,
Nikol: Come on, lets go.
The two walk off stage leaving behind the charred corpses of Grin, with the melted remains of the lances sticking erect from one of their backs.
Nikol: We’re missing the party.
‘Twas a sobering experience (as was losing free refills). We also see they–exlcuding Nikoll, obviously–are each personally opposed to resort killing. Since chapter III, she and Nikoll were drifting apart, despite her earlier attempts at socializing, or even bonding, having been brushed aside previously. It’s good to see that divide well mended here.
I’d be sad to see if anyone judged Serra negatively here at all…
I should also mention, I love that guy’s facial expression in the top panel: “I’ve been touched by St. Gurge!” Serra looks like she’s about to break down in that panel, and though she’s somewhat emotionally ambiguous/mixed by the final panel, she obviously feels it was worth it. Hard not feeling a little cheery after Nikoll pulls a nine on the cute-o-meter. For now, anyway.

Oh and we will be seeing Grinn again that is for shure! Only in what form/person thats the kick. ;)
