Hope you like salt in your wounds.
By the way I’ve been meaning to mention that unlike the rest of the characters to appear in the comic so far Edward Mutiny is not solely a Nick Daniel creation, but a collaboration between myself and my good buddy, and all around smart hilarious person Trent Burg, from an ill-fated attempt of ours to collaborate on a 70-Seas tie in podcast.
Transcript
Surrounded in a thick purple fog Debra picks herself off the ground while Rebecca picks up a grub.
Debra: I don’t think I’ll ever get used to that.
Rebecca examines the grub.
Rebecca: Yeah but it’s worth it to stop these- WAIT!
Rebecca’s eyes widen when she sees the the grub is moving.
Rebecca: It’s NOT dead, we only slowed them down!
Edward Mutiny appears on the ledge above them having donned a primitve home made gas mask.
Edward: Heh, heh, pain in the ass, ain’t it?-
Darn, the pods aren’t the cure-all we thought they were… Debrah must beat the solution out of him!
Mr. Mutiny has an axe. This could be interesting.
Slowing them down is still very useful though.
