   Alice and Ms. Kitter both seem REALLY gullible… and interested in Lewk. Hmmm…

   Unbelewkably lewktastic!

   And I find it quite likely that Alice isn’t gullible, and that she’s merely letting her disbelief be suspended in order to properly enjoy the story. After all, she’s an entertainer herself, so she is probably no stranger to storytelling. And I don’t think Mariam’s interest in Lewk is ‘that’ kind of interest.
