Assessment can do many things, but it can’t tell us what that pipe is sticking out of.

    It should mention the strange feats he can perform with that pipe, like rocket-like combustion lift-off and such. Which might give us an idea as to how he might have conceived a successful cloning method…

    I can easily see Popeye as an example of Science gone Wrong.

    Does that mean his never ending quest for Olive is a compulsive attempt to be “normal” in some regard?

    Whatever that woman is, she ain’t normal.

    Well, yes, but seeking normalcy in this instance means getting a wife, and has little bearing on the woman in question, except that she’s willing to have him. This myopia is, of course, one of the reasons that this sort of thing rarely works out well. Think about all those stories of homosexuals entering into heterosexual marriages because it was expected of them.
