Fantastic, that took us, what, four pages to resolve a hug? I wonder what she does when she doesn’t like you.
She tends to flee from people she doesn’t like, but I’ve faith in her capacity for violence when necessary. Wait, you meant Janet. Also, I like the gradual direction you’re taking the artwork, Nick.
And thus we go from feral vampire Serra to awkward, flustered Serra in 5 panels. After, as DHGM pointed out, taking four pages to resolve a hug.
You guys really know how to make a guy feel dumb for staying up late to work on a holiday.
Is Serra actually blushing in that last panel!? Wow.
Also, the first panel is hilarious.
You shouldn’t feel dumb for staying up late working on a holiday. You should feel dumb for throwing all these pearls to swine. We are not worthy! Well, maybe some of us are, but I feel pretty confident that I speak for the vast majority.
But no, I’m just kidding. Don’t feel dumb. Feel Great! Looking forward to seeing how Serra handles this situation.
I rather like the pacing, myself. But then again, I tend to do 2-3 week archive binges, as opposed to checking evey update.
The sisters are entertaining to watch, at least from beyond minimum safe distance.
Regarding what was said earlier, I for one really appreciated the update – it was a great way to end the holiday. Besides, some gags take time to set up.
