Walls and Wyverns

September 11, 2012

Walls & Wyverns is like Dungeons & Dragons except it was invented in a medieval universe full of animal people, and instead of having magic players have super powers and/or gadgets like it’s a silver age comic book.

They remind me of Supergirl and Batgirl.

That… is actually a really cool concept. Will we see more of these?

I have a story with these two planned out (can you guess who plays them?*) but unfortunately it looks like it’ll be at least a year before I can get that one started. I guess I’ll have to release more characters and concepts in the mean time.

*Hint: You can’t, because they haven’t appeared in a comic yet.

Aww, I was just about to guess that it’d be Kate and Tanya. Granted, they have actual adventures, so they wouldn’t need to play W&W, but they could’ve been sent by Hilde to keep a wild Wall Master occupied while Hilde prepares to sneak up on him. Because he’d be a wizard. Every Wall Master is really a wizard. In fact, they’re probably called Wall Wizards.

And what is a wyvren? Is it a lot like a wyvern?

  5. Sax87ton says:

A wyvren is like a wyvern exep it has arms instead of legs.

So it’s like a Sirpah then? Except with dragon wings, and perhaps bigger, and probably not particularly civilised. And with a barbed tail… Yeah, I guess not very similar to a Sirpah after all.
