I don’t quite get why Grin shouldn’t kill them because they have Nikol. It seems like an extra reason to kill them in my eyes. You know, if Grin could kill them. They are the kings after all. It’s good to be the kings. Except when the boss is being demanding. Then it’s apparently a bit frustrating.
Performing experiments on possibly one of the most dangerous beings in existence… I approve.
The methods implied by the other tied up Grin and Bludgeon’s hammer are a bit unsettling, though.

They’ll inflict pain on Bludgeon’s Grin to glean information from Boomerang’s. Assuming they share a single, ephemeral-like nervous system.
