My Terrible Misogyny
December 20, 2009
As you can probably tell I crafted The Mall of the Red Wizard as something of a send up of the sort of pulp stories that were the fantasy genre’s bread and butter before everything got Tolkienized. While creating this parody I really took it without thinking that my buxom female protagonist would be traipsing around the frozen wastes in a fur bikini. This wasn’t even intended as an element of parody per se (if it were wouldn’t I have made that outfit even skimpier?) Believe it or not the ridiculousness of Hilde’s wardrobe hadn’t even occurred to me. That is until I read this article about the cheesecakey pandering of the Twilight franchise. Long story short the only thing that separates transparent fetishization and objectification of Twilight’s male protagonists from the rest of genre fiction is that it’s the MALE protagonists that it’s happening to.
So now I feel a bit like an idiot and a misogynist, but the deed is done and I ain’t about to redraw anything now, I guess we’ll just have to learn to live with it.

December 1, 2009
Hey what’s this? It appears that there is a comic created by your’s truly over on Dawn of Time. You should read it and then you should read the rest of Dawn of Time, because it is an excellent comic full of cool, funny things, and dinosaurs.
But, don’t take my word for it, just take a look at this:
If you can look at that those last two panels and not already love this comic, then I suggest you check a mirror, because you may very well be a monster.

70 Seas Reviewed on Webcomic Overlook
October 11, 2009
I recently came upon a review of 70-Seas over at Webcomic Overlook. (it turns out that it was done a few months ago but I hadn’t noticed because all the links went to the old site) I found the review to be well written and enjoyable, although I’m probably biased.

NEW SITE IS GO!
May 31, 2009
If you’re here seeing this you’ve certainly noticed that this isn’t lagendcomic.com, That’s because Lagend is no longer Lagend it’s 70-seas, and this is it’s new web 2.0 friendly home; 70-seas.com.
In addition to this all the comic pages are now bigger, and there’s also a new extended comic which I’m sure you’ll like to read.
Now remember to adjust your bookmarks and you won’t have to worry about ending up at a dead site 11 months from now when the redirect expires.
